ABC 123 - Winner

ABC 1, 2, 3: In this tourney, you MUST make an ACES BLACK CANASTA (ABC) BEFORE you GO OUT. 1) 1st meld may be ANY CARDS; ACES are NOT required. 2) TWO CANASTAS required to go out; ONE of them MUST be your ABC CANASTA.  3)  You may make all the canastas you wish, but you may NOT go out unless you have your ABC canasta. You may TAKE THE PILE. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

3333 Rule - Winner

3333 RULE: You CANNOT MELD, PICK UP the PILE or GO OUT UNTIL ALL RED 3s are on the TABLE. If a Red 3 is in the DISCARD PILE, you CANNOT PICK UP the pile UNTIL the OTHER 3 Red 3s are on the TABLE. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

.38 Special - Winner

.38 SPECIAL: You CANNOT GO OUT UNTIL all RED 3s are on the TABLE. You MUST have a CANASTA for EVERY 3 you get. If you don't get any Red 3s, you must make at least 1 canasta to be able to go out. All 8s are like Black 3s, if there is an 8 on the pile, you CANNOT PICK UP the pile. You CANNOT MELD 8s UNTIL you are GOING OUT. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

 

50-90 - Winner

50-90: You CANNOT use any WILDS on the 50 or 90 MELD but you can on the 120 meld (if a wild is used on the 50 or 90 meld you will be D'QED). Pile is up for grabs. Otherwise played as Reg 2/2! ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

Seven Up - Winners

7 Up: You must meld 7s FIRST and all CANASTAS must be HIGHER than 7 to GO OUT. If canastas are made lower than 7, you may not go out. (Even 1 lower than 7, you cannot go out!) You may meld other cards with 7s and if you have a canasta in 7s you may go out, no matter what! ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

7-10 Split - Winner

7-10 SPLIT: This is Regular canasta with 1 special rule... You MUST have EITHER a canasta in 7s or an OPEN MELD in 10s, or an OPEN MELD in 7s and a CANASTA in 10s to GO OUT. You CANNOT canasta both 7s and 10s. One or the other! Open meld means you must have that meld on your table, NOT CANASTA'd. You may meld at any time, but remember, unless you have 7-10 split, you cannot go out! ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

Abandon Ship  - Winners

ABANDON SHIP: You CANNOT meld any cards that your OPPONENT has already MELDED. The ONLY way you can is if the cards go STRAIGHT from your hand to a CANASTA. After the cards have been made into a canasta the cards then become available for anyone to meld. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

Aces Again  - Winners

ACES AGAIN: You may NOT MELD, DISCARD, or CANASTA ACES unless you make a RED CANASTA in ACES. If you make a RED CANASTA in ACES, you win automatically. 2 canastas to go out. YOU MAY TAKE THE PILE. ~*~ Talbes set 2/2~*~

 

Ace to King  - Winners

ACE to a KING: The FIRST hand you MUST meld ACES first. The SECOND hand you MUST meld KINGS first. Hands will alternate between ACES and KINGS. AFTER you have made your initial meld you MUST wait one turn before melding any other cards or you must FF immediately. ~*~ Talbes set 2/2~*~

 

Aces to Meld  - Winners

ACES to MELD: This special tourney has 1 special rule. You MUST meld with Aces (you can use wilds and you can pick up the pile as long as you meld Aces with your meld at the same time) NO aces NO meld. You may go out at anytime. ~*~ TABLES SET 2/2 ~*~

 

Anti-Freeze - Winners

ANTI-FREEZE: Wild cards may not be used to freeze the deck in this game. You may go out at any time and meld at any time but you may not freeze the pile. ~*~TABLES SET 2/1 or 2/2~*~

 

Backwards - Winner

BACKWARDS: You CANNOT PICK UP PILE. DO NOT MELD, DO NOT CANASTA! You DRAW cards and DISCARD the LOWEST ones (requires kibitzing by M/TD). The FIRST person/team to MINUS 5000 wins. The person/team with the HIGHER score must FF the game. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

Beat That - Winners

BEAT THAT: If your opponent canastas 4s, you can only canasta 5s or HIGHER. Melding anything is fine. You can both have the same cards melded, but each canasta must be at least ONE BETTER than the last one. When As have been put to a canasta, no more canastas can be made by either player/team. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

Big Secret - Winners

BIG SECRET: This game is played like Reg 2/2, you may meld whatever you want all the time. But... WATCH CARDS 4-5-6 must be RED CANASTAs! 7-8-9 MUST be BLACK CANASTAs! 10-J-Q must be RED CANASTAs, and Ks and As must be BLACK CANASTAs. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

Bingo - Winners

BINGO: Each hand you MUST have melded cards that will make a bingo, i.e., 4-5-6, 7-8-9, 8-9-10, J-Q-K, Q-K-A, or 6-9-Q, 6-10-A, 4-9-A, 5-9-K, 4-8-Q. AFTER you COMPLETE your BINGO you CAN make your canastas AND go out. If you DO NOT have your BINGO you CANNOT go out. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

Blackbeard - Winner

BLACKBEARD: You CANNOT DISCARD any BLACK cards of any kind, including WILDS. ALL of your Canastas MUST be BLACK. If you PLAY ALL of your RED cards during the game and are left with BLACK ONLY, you must FF immediately. (Jokers are neutral.) ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

Black Hole - Winners

BLACK HOLE: You CANNOT use BLACK 3s until you are GOING OUT and then you have to MELD them. Black 3s can NEVER be DISCARDED. So hold on to those Black 3s. NO RED CANASTAS...only BLACK CANASTAS in this game. Pile up for grabs. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

Blackjack - Winners

BLACKJACK: TOTAL of CANASTAS must EQUAL 21 to GO OUT. Less than 21 CANNOT GO OUT. More than 21, you MUST FF (Example: 7s and 4s and Jacks = 21, okay to go out; 9s and 4s and 6s = 19, CANNOT GO OUT; 7s and 9s and Qs = 26, you MUST FF.) As count as 1 or 11. All FACE CARDS count as 10. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

Boys Nite Out - Winners

BOYS NIGHT OUT: You must MELD Js in your FIRST MELD. You MUST have a CANASTA in Ks to GO OUT. If you do not have a canasta in Ks, you CANNOT go OUT. AFTER your FIRST MELD, your partner can then play as he/she wishes. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~

 

Busch - Winners

BUSCH NPU: YOU CAN MELD and CANASTA ANYTHING - ANYTIME. HOWEVER, YOU MUST MELD 9s and 7s TO GO OUT. PLEASE POST 97 when you have melded your 9s and 7s. NO PILE.. ~*~TABLES SET 2/2~*~
